[/p]Rick Ross musical ear tuned into Wiz's unique sound long before he signed to Atlantic Records. The Rawse knew the young Pittsburgh rapper was heading for stardom and quickly made an offer to have him join Maybach Music Group. However, the young upcoming rapper declined. With no regrets, Ross speaks to MTV about the situation.[/p]"I put the proposition out there. But at the time, Maybach Music wasn't really where we were supposed to be, which was a lot of motivation," Ross explained in an interview. "The homey made a great decision, going to Atlantic Records.
