ATL LIVE Celebrates 1 Yr Anniversay w/ NEXT, Fonzworth Bentley & More

Last night, event producers Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols along with over 300 Atlanta tastemakers and music industry insiders celebrated the One-Year Anniversary of ATL LIVE ON THE PARK, the most exclusive live music showcase in the city. R&B group NEXT reunited to headline the show, while author/musician Fonzworth Bentley wowed the crowd with an expertly choreographed routine. JIVE Records introduced their new hip-hop duo Big Heed & Alien (Alien – the drummer – is a show all by himself). Attendees such as Chaka Zulu, Ron Devoe, Devyne Stephens, Q Parker, Roger Bobb, Sheree Whitfield, Bob Whitfield, Tameka Raymond, and Faune Watkins (Bentley’s wife) sang along as NEXT performed their classics “Wifey” and “Too Close.[/p]
